Darley Abbey has a strong sense of community, and we are proud to look after families here as near neighbours. We take care of every arrangement personally, explain each option clearly, and give you a written price before anything is agreed.
Our services for Darley Abbey families
A farewell through the village
Many families choose for the cortège to pass a meaningful place, such as Darley Park, the mills or the riverside. Tell us what mattered to your loved one and we will plan the route with care.
Crematoria and registering a death
Markeaton Crematorium is close by, and we also arrange services at Bretby and Amber Valley crematoria. Darley Abbey is within Derby city, so deaths are registered with Derby City Council. Our guides to registering a death and what to do when someone passes away explain each step.
